The CD won't update the package.json version after publishing a new version to NPM for some reason

It used to work before, but now it's necessary to manually make sure there's a correspondance between the last published to NPM version and the version set in package.json. After running the deployment job, make sure to update the version manually in the package.json or otherwise the next deployment would fail.
