Issues with Mapbox visual on new version of Power BI

Since updating to the 2.75.5649.582 64-bit (November 2019) version of Power BI, there seem to be some intermittent issues using the mapbox visual.

If the visual was installed on a report created in an earlier version it seems to be fine. However in new reports, you get the following error message, when trying to use the visual. This sometimes works after a couple of attempts but not consistently. See screenshot of error message below:
