Mapbox Visual not showing - LastPass Chrome browser extension issue

Version 73 seems to work well
I am experiencing the same issue in Power BI Service as of Monday, but across multiple browsers. Oddly enough, I can view the maps perfectly fine on all three of my computers and VM, except none of my team members can successfully view the map.
I have gotten them to clear their cache, update Chrome, reinstall Chrome, try other browsers (Firefox, IE, Edge), etc. It works fine on their mobiles, but will not work under any circumstance on their computers (both mac and pc with graphics card).
Please let me know if you know of any workarounds to help them view the maps. Thanks
Edit: Also, none of the versions of Chrome work for them as explained in the previous post. 70, 72, and 73 all failed for them.
I am experiencing the same issue with mapbox visuals not showing up on my PBI embed. I downloaded the report and the visuals show fine in the PBI desktop. I tested Power BI mobile app and it works. On my android device running chrome it works. On Firefox and chrome (72) it doesn't work. However, it does work on Microsoft Edge.

@BIElite @tsengtony I am not able to reproduce. Can you send any information regarding the operating system and other environment information. It could also be a firewall issue. Can you also confirm it was working on the exact same environment before Monday.
Hi @samgehret, I don't know too much about my team's environment since I am remote. Here's what I do know:
- The maps were working perfectly for them before Monday.
- The maps aren't working on their work or personal computers so it wouldn't be due to corporate firewall issues.
- The maps do work on their mobiles.
- They've tried multiple versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. -UPDATE on 3/22/2019: Edge has started to display the maps! Although it was confirmed that Edge was failing before. -Lastly, a Chrome incognito window fixed the issue on Monday, but has not worked since.

@pstevens33 can you try without Power BI embedded? If you use Power BI Desktop or Power BI Web Reports, are there still problems?
I am also experiencing issue where the mapbox visual is not showing up in my Power BI Embed.
Current chrome browser: Version 73.0.3683.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)
@jackychen135 can you provide a link to your PBI Embed or send a .pbix file? I am still unable to reproduce.
@samgehret The maps work fine in Power BI Desktop. They don't work in Power BI Service. We don't use Power BI Embedded like the other users on this thread.
thanks, @pstevens33 do you have a .pbix or link i can check. if you can share something to my email where i can consistently reproduce i think i'll be able to fix the issue. but i've yet to see the blank visual in a live dashboard.
Hi @samgehret the data is pretty confidential so I wouldn't be able to share the report, unfortunately. However, I know for a fact that this isn't a problem with our particular report. Our users couldn't even see the map on the following sample report: https://labs.mapbox.com/bites/00369/

Can you send any screenshots of the blank visual with the developer console open so we can see the errors.
Can you also try incognito browsers again.
Hi @samgehret - I just tried using a incognito mode and it works fine. However, I tried clearing my cache and cookies and still it doesn't show up in regular mode. So, based on my trial and error this is what i'm getting:
Firefox: does not work on either private or regular browser Chrome: Works in incognito but not regular
Colleagues computer: works fine on both
Not sure what's going on with my computer, but seems like an issue others are having.
okay, So I disabled all my browser extensions and tried one by one and have found the culprit! Lastpass browser extension was preventing the maps from loading!

I also had last pass enabled on my chrome browser when the visual was blank.
Following @tsengtony post, I disabled Lastpass which resulted in the mapbox visual finally displaying itself :)

@pstevens33 was referencing our company. While I'm relieved it seems @tsengtony found the culprit, I'm unwilling to disable lastpass extension for obvious reasons - the biggest of which is all my passwords are insane and not able to be remembered since they were generated by LastPass across more than 50 websites we routinely use company wide. Is someone working on a resolution whereby LastPass and Mapbox can co-exist?
@RobertHefnerV Yes we are looking into it. We just discovered this thanks to @tsengtony ... it, understandably, did not come up in our quality testing as we don't use LastPass internally.
Makes complete sense. Hopefully LastPass and Mapbox end up playing nicely together sometime soon.

I experienced the same issue & using an incognito browser (no last pass) fixes the issue & the Mapbox visual is displayed. (THANK YOU @tsengtony & others for sharing!) Following this thread so I can stay up to date on the permanent fix.
Has this been reported to Power BI community? If so, does anyone have the link?

I am experiencing the issue on Version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit).
We are experiencing issues since the last Power BI update. I'm unable to create a new MapBox map bc the Viz settings goes blank every time I attempt to paste my access token. My MapBox maps in all my previous Power BI desktop files from before the update are now lost. Here's something weird. If I first create a map using PBI desktop "Map" visual and then edit it to a MapBox visual, it allowed me to paste my viz token and continue formatting.
@kky1 are you using LastPass browser extension? Or is your report a separate issue potentially? cc/ @samgehret
I do not use LastPass so I believe this is a separate issue. Incidentally, the choropleth map isn’t working at all.

@kky1 try adding a latitude, longitude or location value before adding your access token.
Hi Sam,
I had initially – that’s when I was able to see the Viz Settings; however, each time I pasted my token it would revert to nothing. What is odd is that if I first create a different map in Power BI and switch to MapBox, then it allowed me to paste my token and then pull in the info like normal.

@samgehret Just to get an idea of when the planned fix is, what are your timescales at looking into this? We currently use Map Box and are looking at deploying lastpass to the organisation.
I thought I had same issue, as map was not showing and I have the last pass extension, but I got it to work by just adding style='width: 400px; height: 300px;' to map div target.
