A way to include text or interactive info within a map annotation layer?

Something reminiscent of airbnb bubbles or any interactive widget 5e471a612dae5c7194603752

I understand that the symbol annotation layer kind of supports this, but it seems pretty static - would be nice to have a way to be able to update annotations to reflect data
