Impossible to find China with language 'fr'

When language is set to 'fr' you need to type 'République populaire de Chine' to find China, typing only 'Chine' or 'China' doesn't return the country even though everyone call it like that.

Also I've noticed that on the demo page https://docs.mapbox.com/playground/geocoding/ you can remove language without it default to browser language but I can't find how to do it.
