MapboxDirections doesn't work when GeolocateControl button is pressed?

Apologies if this is a mistake I'm making as I'm a beginner to this, but for some reason MapboxDirections fails to work on the map that I'm working on when the GeolocateControl button is pressed. Is there any workaround to this?

Also, is there an option to close the directions popup/window?
