Existing note invisible due to being outside the screen

Between home and work I have different screen sizes and layouts. In the current situation, I have one screen to the left and significantly below the main screen (i.e. screen on the laptop and the main monitor.) In the situation where I set up the note they are more in-line. I wrote a note on the laptop screen in the more in-line situation, but now can't see it when I view the notes as I suspect it's trying to show "above" the laptop screen. Perhaps notes should be moved into the nearest visible area when revealed. I'm using version 23.
