New note outside of the screen

Hi!

I don't know what happen, but if I install this extension, I only get the pencil icon on the top panel and the extension settings working. If I click on the pencil icon nothing happens, like if it were completely uneffective.

How to tackle this issue? My system: ubuntu 18.04, xorg session, gnome 3.28.3

Also, what are the settings ? (mostly: what is the position ? i changed how it works recently)

I installed it from the website. It's the current version available.

The position is "on the desktop" (or is it "on the background"? It's localized in my language, so I'm just guessing. Anyway: any window can cover them), but even if I change it, the pencil icon still does nothing -> notes do not appear at all.

Ok. Done. My only note ended somehow out of the desktop area. I've just downloaded&installed the version in the queue review and I could reset its position.

Which is a bug in the algorithm setting the pseudo-random position of new notes, i re-open the issue
