Emoji selection window flickering and displaced

Description of the bug

The emoji selection window is out of place after making the selection. It appears in the top-left position and it essentially flickers in that place for a very short period, I managed to get a screenshot as it was happening. Screenshot: link to postimg.cc

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. hide extension icon from gnome shell interface
  2. enable then use shortcut super + .
  3. click/copy emoji
