User story: find collaborators through the Fediverse and jointly improve a model

This is just an idea, but follows some real-world interactions I'd like to be able to do that places like Thingiverse do not support.

• A creates a model and posts it
• B finds out about this model and posts a comment from their fediverse account
• The comment now shows up right below the model on the manyfold site
• A comments on B's comment
• C chimes in, and a rich threaded discussion ensues that's federated over A, B and C's Fediverse instances including the manyfold site
• A and B decide to collaborate to create a new version of the model
• (how exactly they do that might be out of scope)
• The model is updated / a new version created / a fork created.
