Add support for Markdown formatting

Hi!

It would be great if notes could be formatted using Markdown.

As I see it, adding Markdown would likely be a "quick" win for a couple of other requests (e.g. #22, #48, #12). As far as compatibility goes, the note would remain plain text and you could make it an opt-in setting to prevent it accidentally affecting existing notes on upgrade.

@isomeruk Thanks for filing this. Actually I've been working on the markdown support but it's taking time to take it beyond the finish line because of some styling issues (and being busy with other things).

I'll try to finish it soon.
