If you're comfortable with using desktop mode and it's a one time thing, a possible workaround is to go to Desktop-mode and use Ark (in `Main menu > Utilities`).

@vincentchov As another possibility, maybe you could install in `/home/deck` (or `/home/opt`, or `/home` directly), and then files in `/etc` to enable the service (as described in the previous comment)....
Linux 6.5 is now available in Beta, if you can afford to upgrade.
