Please try `make kernel_oldconfig CONFIG_TARGET=subtarget` after the change.
This should go to the master branch first, please change the target branch by clicking edit button right to the PR title.
Thanks for the contribution, but I'd be glad if you can prepare your PR in more reviewable state. Your patches have formal issues (e.g. SoB, commented-out lines, broken indentation, ...)...

Sorry, I could not reproduce the problem with my devices. It took about 1 minute to turn on wlan in DFS channel, but after that the MCS was fine.
