WinRing0 driver alternative

Would it be possible to change the included WinRing0 driver to PawnIO driver which is deemed less vulnerable?

Hey, I'm waiting for the OCCT DLL, should be ready around end of October. PawnIO is pretty useless for CPUDoc, it does only monitoring. Except the CPU temperature and voltages monitoring for AMD, there's not much in CPUDoc for now. I can actually almost avoid loading it; I'm thinking to find a way to enable it only on demand and have it downloaded from GitHub. There's unfortunately quite a lot of stuff that I would have to re-work during the CPU init.

Thank you for checking.

No problem; in any case, even on Win11 2H25 works fine. If you want to secure it, change the WinRing0, inpoutx64, ZenStates-Core DLLs permissions to Administrator only. You need to run CPUDoc in elevated mode anyway. The new Win11 drivers blacklist from Microsoft, even if forced enabled, can be bypassed setting the DLL (ZenStates-Core) in Defender exclusions. Then best thing is installing a better free AV (Avast/AVG) or a paid one (ESET).
