PDF Export Issue still broken

I installed gImageReader 3.4.2 using apt install on Ubuntu 24.04. I have the Noto Sans fonts installed, when I attempt to export an OCR document as a .pdf changing the font to a Noto Sans, in this case CJK SC, it errors out in the same manner as issue #465, as well as perhaps #681 and #486 . Is there something in my installation that is causing this to occur? This is strange, as when I select Noto Sans CJK SC in the font menu, it displays correctly in the Preview window in the center pane of gImageReader, but it will not properly create the file.

It seems that this only applies to the -gtk version. With the -qt5 install on 24.04, and the QPrinter backend, it seems to function correctly
