Start checking for updates after network becomes available

Consider the following scenario:

The app is started while no network connection is available. While the app is open, a connection establishes (WiFi, Ethernet, etc..). The app should automatically start checking for updates then.

A bonus would be to do the same after the Mac woke up from sleep, if that is not covered in the above case.
