At the very least we should provide a way via the Python setting to perhaps set the fill value as there are times that you probably don't care too much...

Hmm, perhaps we need to look to see if one of the inverse trig functions has an issue with `90` that we are not handling.
I second the plan. I have been wondering actually if we really need to be checking for negative depths, does this happen enough that we should spend the time doing...
Is this due to problems in the refinement in the near shore then? I am not sure if I totally understand why moving the check from `b4step` to `rpn2` would...
