new machines marked as NOT_WORKING - Dynamic Trial 7
Again I'm getting inquiries about this one, and being asked if MAME can provide a 'proof of concept' emulation by a company looking over the list of things they can license and put on modern platforms. Seems to be another chicken+egg situation of them not wanting to license unless there is already a working emulation so they can have a quick turnaround.
It still doesn't work, I haven't touched it since last time, but at the very least, somewhere visible where changes can be pushed is needed regardless of it it's merged or not.
I thought this was clarified in the last pull request you made. I dont see anything thats changed since then. Watermark roms ect seems dubious, I have to ask (not accusing) did you leak the roms anonymously to get this pull request in so any liability of the roms would fall somewhere other than you?
I have not leaked these ROMs. These ROMs are not watermarked to the best of my knowledge. I was sent some watermarked ROMs in the past and pointed out the watermarks on them when compared to a different private dump. The version that subsequently appeared online did not have those watermarks.
This really isn't so different to Marble Madness 2 showing up for example.
