First, Happy New Year!

I am having the same problem and describing it better something stay controlling the audio of microphone, when you talk loud reduces the volume and idk what exactly makes to increases the volume, sometimes even go to the max and messes up. Even disabling everything that could control the audio (#32) still the same. I also noticed that having the official Discord running the changes is more agressive and buggy.

And is really annoying, almost usable.

Happy New Year to you too! I forgot about this post. In the settings there is an option to set automatic volume control. If I turn it off it will turn the volume up if I whisper and down if I speak loudly and that can be bad because yes as you said it will set the volume wrong most of the time.
