Few requests

  • Support to mixmatch notes and tick boxes would be great.
  • Support for basic markdown. If the aim of the app is to stay minimal then its a great job done, but there is a simiar app out there which is exact replica for your current version, check out notally on fdroid. Add some more features to standout. Provide a way to donate within the application might help. Waiting for more updates to come.

That was already part of the backlog, should be added by next version.

Unlikely to happen. Use a text processor if you want styling :)

See https://github.com/maltaisn/another-notes-app/issues/1#issuecomment-777564433. A boring answer, but keep in my this is just another notes app. I'm not saying I won't add anything, but I definitely won't add anything extravagant, and development will be slow anyhow.

Provide a way to donate within the application might help.

Also unlikely to happen. I don't need the money, and more importantly I don't want to feel compelled to keep up development because of the donations. Not necessarily that it would be the donors' intent, but I would still get the feeling.

I read this one a bit fast it seems, for some reason I thought you meant separating checked and unchecked items in list notes! And I just added that. I guess there's nothing lost...

I think what you wanted was to be able to have checkboxes in text notes, right?

Yes, is it possible to have.

Couple points about notally (similar, also written in kotlin): No sorting, sort order is hardcoded No issue tracker in github, dev asked for PRs of which I see only one at the moment. Dev probably just taking requests via email or play store only
