cycle2 Youtube Video no longer working

I am seeing the same behaviour, I haven't found a solution yet.

The same is happening for us. We have multiple sites using Cycle2 that contain a video as the first "slide" and images for the rest. The video slide is no longer working. YouTube has deprecated their JavaScript API in favor of an iFrame API, and it appears that the Cycle2 YouTube plugin needs to be updated to support that new API. Is there a timeframe on when this is going to be corrected?

It actually started working out of the blue for me, not sure what the issue was.

This is still not working since Youtube changed there embed code favouring html video tag over iframe...?

I don't think that the YouTube video add-on is working anymore. I found an alternative solution here and was able to implement it successfully: https://www.minddevelopmentanddesign.com/blog/create-a-responsive-youtube-video-slider/
