Displaying all slides/images

Hello,

I am trying to accomplish something similar to this: http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/div.html

How would I go about creating a slider that displays, let's say 5 images, and then by clicking on the next/previous buttons it will move the slider over by 1.

Also, do images have to be in groups in order for this to work? Or can this be accomplished by all of the images belonging to 1 group?

Any advice is appreciated
