Does Not Working Inside DIV with Class and ID

Please refer to the reply to my initial post at ASP.NET forums for more details. Essentially, when the corners plugin is applied to elements in a content placeholder page inside a master page it works fine. However when the placeholder is inside of a panel or div with an id it does not work on any object inside that panel.

I am using Windows XP, IE8, jQuery 1.4.2, and the latest corners plugin.
