Maliit not responding to resolution changes

I use maliit keyboard on KDE plasma 5.26 (wayland), with an external touchscreen monitor.

Whenever I plug in the monitor, I need to restart maliit in order for it to resize properly to the new monitor, and as well as when the resolution changes due to auto-rotate.

I've the same issue. Arch linux used, KDE and wayland of course on Latitude D9330 2-in-1 PC.
