I understand this might be because of how dat is an append-only log. So then I would say then that it might be nice to see a feature where renaming...
Seems like it is a library bug, so this will stay open for the time being.
Maybe switching to Mistune v0.8.4 would fix this?
This is still a bug in mistune v2.0.0. Switching to mistune v0.8.4 is not a viable option as it would require rewrites and likely missing features.
[Apparently](https://github.com/lepture/mistune/issues/244#issuecomment-1258090775) this is fixed in a new update, would need to test and update the dependency in the requirements.
Bug #10 should be fixed before this is added.
Some tests have been added already, but the testing suite is far from complete. Travis is set up though.
Thanks for filing this! I agree that would be better. I would gladly accept a PR for this, with test cases. Otherwise I will get to it when I can.
