The extension shouldn't matter. Maybe they should have used a different one, but in any case Ventoy still can't make it work. What can be done to move this forward?...

As mentioned [here](https://github.com/lukasschwab/arxiv.py/issues/57#issuecomment-820017614), I think the best solution to this from a user perspective is to take the unparsed string using feedparser, and then pass it to [`dateutil.parser.parse`](https://dateutil.readthedocs.io/en/stable/parser.html).

GitHub pages limits what kind of extensions you can use. So it is not loading the katex extension, and that's why it isn't recognizing the katex tag. A solution would...
