adafuit-pitft.py fails when using Dietpi linux distro

Thanks. I found a possible alternative `pgrep wayfire`, which searches the processes. That may be an option that works on dietpi.

Ok, cool. Maybe the script isn't adding it correctly then.

PiTFT Plus does not work on 50% of boot cycles, probably due to race condition (/dev/fb0 vs. /dev/fb1)

It sounds like the race condition is between running con2fbmap-helper.sh and initializing the ili9341. I'll check if there's a way to fix the order things happen in.
