Zoffset
Hi, every time I reboot my printer I lose the Zoffset value. So I have to write the value on a sticker...
I think a little more information might be needed if the devs even stand a chance to help you. your problem is as generic as it could possibly have been. I have a screw that come loose in my car but I have no idea where it come from please help me !!!! the tft35 plugs into a few boards, them boards can also run different software, what version is the software, what board, what firmware build on the tft, what firmware build on the printer board, are you using clone bl touch or genuine etc etc etc. you need to supply as much information about your hardware as possible along with any steps you have tried to fix the problem or are you just wanting somone else to fix it for you because you do not understand how any of it works ????
is your eeprom enabled ??? M500 saves data to eeprom once you have set the Z pos then you need to activate the saved setting by reading it back with M501. Maybe watch a few youtube videos about setting Z offset and see if anyone else has the problem you have and been able to fix it.
I'm running marlin 2.x. The problem is, when you go to that screen, the soft don't send a 501 to get the previous value and display automatically 0 as value. If you don't remember your previous value, tu l'as dans le c****. I switched back to a Full graphic display, no issues to adjust the offset of my bltouch.
If a ask a question like that, is because I'm 200% sure about my config because everything works without this screen.
you know your config but the other 23 billion or however many people are on this earth know nothing of your setup do we have telepathic powers that I am not aware of and I am the only person that does not know your setup.. SORRY i appologise that I am so stupid that I could not have known or worked out why YOU had a problem from your initial BUG post..

the easiest way to sort that would be to make a custom button in one of the spare unused "More" menu options to send a reload eeprom command M501; when you tap the screen. could you manage that ? it`s an easy idea to try option.. ps the mkstft35 software/firmware is (I do not know of a word that fits the space) shocking. There might even be a command already there that works but just needs tweaked to add the M501; right after the z offset has been used. try looking thru the tft35 config
I have the same problem. When rebooting, the current z offset value is not displayed in the z offset menu, but a value of 0 is always displayed. It seems like an old problem, but now the product is still experiencing the same problem.
