Which firmware to choose for MKS TS35 V2.0 ?

Hello

I am unable to flash the my MKS TS35 V2.0 with the tft35_V1.0.8_English version. Do I have to change the .bin name ? Is it the right firware for this screen ?

I'm in the same situation. I can't find the correct firmware for ts35-r, the idea is to use it together with dlc32 laser-normal mode.

Tha TS35 V2.0 Doesn't require firmware. It's just a display, not like TFT35.

It would have to be changed in the MKS DLC32 firmware. I'm sorry, so far I don't know how to do that.

ho generato online il file bin del logo iniziale ma non riesco a fare il flasching posso inserirlo da solo come in altri display? denominandolo ad esempio boot_logo . perchè devo vedere questa immagine con caratteri in lingua cinese? sarebbe un problema da risolvere,

I generated the bin file of the initial logo online but I can't do the flasching I can insert it by itself come in other displays? named for example boot_logo. why do i have to see this image with chinese language characters? it would be a problem to solve,

Olá, estou em uma situação parecida com o mesmo display (MKS ts35 v2.0), estou tentando usá-lo e personalizá-lo desde 2021, mas sempre está havendo algum conflito com os firmwares que uso, o ultimo que utilizei para criar a pasta "assets" foi o Marlin 2.0.9.3, mas há conflitos como:

• Ícones sem imagem com a mensagem 'No Data';
• Conflitos em não reconhecer Pen drives e cartões SD;
• diversos bugs antes, durante e depois de qualquer impressão, como travar no começo da 1ª impressão, mas na segunda ele funciona normalmente. E sobre personalizar o MKS ts35, estou tentando personalizar a Logo a quase 4 meses e infelizmente não encontrei em nenhuma lugar falando sobre isso. Alguém conhece alguma solução para esse tipo de problema?

MKS TS35-R V2.0 is a screen that works really well with MKS Robin E3D V1.1 board. You can download the firmware here: https://github.com/quiret/Marlin/releases/tag/bugfix-2.1.x-promo

After quick test please configure Marlin properly for your needs + compile it yourself using VScode.

The problem is with the graphics library, it is difficult to trace, but simply looking up the robin nano tft35 screen manual and following that method of making a custom bmp_logo.bin (Boot screen) and then placing it into the assets folder that is created with the build/ compiling in Visual Studio, and Platformio. This basically consists of converting a .png image, or .jpeg into a bitmap (bmp), and then inserting it with the correct name into the assets folder to overwrite the current boot screen (bmp_logo.bin).

The mainboard firmware flash file (.bin) and assets folder are in the .pio folder. The assets upload to the screen after the mainboard flash. This is the assets folder where you put the custom bmp_logo.bin. There are a lot of bugs with the LVGL, Marlin, and screen configurations. Kind of odd, but some people have specific fixes for certain setups. Mostly they work, but seams there's not as much info for some of the more obscure mks stuff. Alot of this info can be gathered from other screen information that they provide with the files for their other screens..

I was confused by a blank MKS TS35-R V2.x screen issue as well after updating my MKS DLC32 V2.x control board with the latest firmware V2.1.0_H35_20220526_02_N_CNC.bin. As @WRFleming57 says above "It's (the MKS TS35-R V2.x screen) just a display. However the MKS TS35-R V2.x screen does go blank because there is an issue with the MKS ESP32 Flashing Tool, you must select Flash Size: 16MB (or 8MB) in order for the screen to work. If you do not do this while flashing the MKS DLC32 V2.x control board the screen will be blank.
