[bug]: Deletion of Work Issue - no warning - soft delete - no recovery option

Current behavior

When you delete a work issue, there is no warning to confirm

When you do delete, in postgres it is soft deleted (deleted_at) - the purpose of soft delete is to allow things to be recovered

No recovery option to restore, there should be a way to restore this, by having your search expose deleted ones, allow known links (e.g. the link to the orginal ticket) work and show its been deleted, or within the project have a 'Deleted Item' list, where things can be recovered

Hi team, I’d like to work on this issue.

My plan is to implement a way to recover soft-deleted work items, either by exposing deleted items in search, supporting direct links to deleted items, or providing a “Deleted Items” list within the project.

Could you please assign this issue to me before I start?

Hi @matthiscock We do show a warning before a page is being deleted (refer to the image below). Regarding the retrieval of soft deleted work item we will discuss this internally with product and get back.
