Summary

I would consider creating a query language. Jira has JQL and it's powerful as a user. The query can be used in boards, views, or even bookmarked queries.

Why should this be worked on?

Increases the usefulness of the platform if the query language can be plugged into various aspects of the interface. Allowing the user to customize their experience.
