Just got a response from the person that was in contact with the saucelabs support. He didn't receive anything worthwhile and mostly useless "updates".

Had some time to investigate this. It seems like the issue in the example above, is that the value is passed in as lowercase but pickr normalizes hex to uppercase....

Trying to find the issue, I tried to use testem with browserstack and it worked out of the box with the flaky browsers. I think this is probably an issue...
