Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid can't run makehuman.

I try to open 1.2 and 1.3 and neither will run, they still run fine for me the newest mint XFCE release, It seems to fail early in init so where should I look to see that? I run in terminal and it quits before I even get to see a terminal up on screen. Is there a workaround for this?
