1.2.0 GUI freezing on macOS Monterey after downloading community assets

After I download community assets such as eyebrows and return to the modelling tab, the downloaded items do not appear and the GUI freezes.

I am running make human 1.2.0 on M1 MacBook Pro.

This behavior is recurring.

I have this same problem on macOS 12.6 (21G115) M1.

Basically every time I download something from the community the UI freezes. It is consistent and should be easy to re-create.

same problem here with MacOS 12.5 (21G72) M1. synchronize the asset database and then select an asset to download it. after the download completes, the UI hangs.
