Should be able to ape on log4j2 JSONLayoutTest for the most part: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/log4j2/trunk/log4j-core/src/test/java/org/apache/logging/log4j/core/layout/JSONLayoutTest.java

Hi, after using the project and trying to bring the logs to logstash, i see an unreadble output on the msg. Like: ~\u0000Oq\u0000~\u0000Pt\u0000\u001 does this need any additional configration in logstas
