adb shell am broadcast -a clipper.get
Broadcasting: Intent { act=clipper.get flg=0x400000 }
Broadcast completed: result=0, data=""

this is what I got when I send clipper to the background

Remove any restrictions on Clipper's battery usage in system settings. It works for me.
