Help with YSFlight aircraft DNM/SRF format

Open ghost opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

PLEASE, Help configurate and modife your "AC3D-Blender" scripts for use it as import/export scripts for ".DNM" and ".SRF" files, that are YSFlight's 3D formats for aircraft and ground objects.

*.DNM is 3D format very similar to AC3D (that include whole aircraft model with many parts). *.SRF - is 3D format of surface (for single mesh, like "bolt" of "mechanism"). SRF file structure is a part of DNM file structure.

Here is actual scripts only for Blender 2.49 and python2.6 https://sourceforge.net/projects/ysfsblender

Or maybe You can help to port actual "ysfsblender" scripts for Blender2.6+?

I suggest you submit a ticket here instead:

https://sourceforge.net/p/ysfsblender/feature-requests/

Its only 9 months since that author was active, you can probably convince him to upgrade his scripts.

It may seem that I'm not active - I am, but TomGhey has done most of the subsequent work/changes/support from my original work. I'm sorry, but I have little enough time as it is, and I'm not likely to get any time to to work on this. Why not change YSFlight to support AC3D format?
