Handling multiple users

I assume that this is supposed to be a single user system installed in the home directory. Is there a way to handle multiple users with separate mail directories under /home/user ?

It's multi user but the management interface is half baked

you can add a new user with ./bin/newmail config.ini bill /path/to/bills/MailDir/ billpassword

i want to also support different kinds of mail delivery, like forwarding to a "proper" MTA/MDA or mbox format.
