Why I would like to join the maintainer's organization

I have been rooting to join the organization because I have a lot of passion for Open Source, engaging myself in Open Source programs like Hackthoberfest , Aviyel and others . I have been contributing to open source and will like to be an Open Source maintainer as well to start making projects Open Source. I will be very grateful if my request is Granted.
