Apple Mail Settings Lookup fails for my domain but domain.tld/mail works fine

Can we add this to status check page https://support.apple.com/mail ?

Would it be easy to make it work with Apple?

I have no idea. How does it work? A little googling shows that it's not straightforward. At leasr mail in a box has mobileconfig support, so you can configure your Apple device by downloading the mobileconfig file from your box (https://box.yourdomain/mailinabox.mobileconfig)

Testing some domains that I know use different services, this Web page seems to only provide information for major email providers domains.

Try [email protected], [email protected], etc

I suspect this is based on an Apple database, not some kind of autoconfig mechanism.

Apple Mail app is not able to connect with SSL but gives an option to connect without SSL. Is it safe?
