suggestion : Option for communities to handle regsitration

There are lots of communities (PAL, IndiaUnited, steembasicincome) etc on steem which requires a registration by collecting a registration fee.

If we can add support for registration, to communities, by accepting or not accepting donations in terms of delegations or STEEM, this will be a great feature.

Further, Hive is getting ready and the communities should be going live on steemit soon bringing more demand.

1. Communities are as you running with a mashup between Discord and steemit with establishing a mapping btween the STEEM blockchain account and the discord user-name
2. Especially those communities which take a small registration fee + a unique string to verify the mapping between the STEEM user and discord user

Now, if such a registration model can be brought to steemauto, lot of the work can be avoided and can have a simple mechanism with a comparatively secure steemconnect that you have already implemented.

Does this makes sense or do you want to be elaborated more ? I will try to come back with a flow diagram as well

This need not be just strictly third party "communities" like the ones based on discord - say PAL etc but this can be also steeemit inc's hivemind. There is already a community bot written in nodejs. For steemauto application adding the integration layer for discord may help in extending to other apps like hivemind in future. ie, this can be a "layer to integrate with third party communities". Just my 2 cents
