Quibble stuck on "Booting Windows"!

Hello everyone,

First of all @maharmstone, thank you for these great tools! I have a problem with Quibble. This is for Windows 11 (which I understand it has not been mentioned in the repo). I have installed WinBTRFS, converted my Windows from NTFS to BTRFS with ntfs2btrfs successfully*****, installed Quibble. While issuing ntfs2btrfs, there were a bunch of warning and log can be seen here http://sprunge.us/PShVf1.

(1) On internal LCD of the laptop, It boots up until showing "Booting Windows". Please take a look at the video shoot I uploaded here:: x230.mp4 (Please ignore the background noise, kids are playing a video game!)

(2) But if I take the LCD out and attach an external monitor (I'm using VGA cables), it seems to go through the boot process but then it goes all blank and then Input Not Supported on the monitor shows up. Video shoot here: IMG_0225.MOV

What is the issue? Thank you!

Edit: This issue involves both ntfs2btrfs as well as quibble, but I though here would be best spot to report it!

Thanks @i2. I've not updated quibble for Windows 11 yet, so it won't work until I've done that.

@maharmstone Thank you for the response. After reading a few of the posts here (for instance this), I tried to install Windows 10 21H1, but unfortunately it's the same result. It boots up until "Booting Windows" and it freezes!

Right now, as officially you have mentioned up to Windows 10 2009 (which I think is 20H2 ?!), I am going to test it before giving up! These are done on a ThinkPad X230 Tablet.

I know you mentioned debugging is difficult, but if there is any tests I can do, logs to provide, etc. I am happy to do so.

I should probably change the title of this issue, as there's bigger issue in picture here not isolated just to external monitor.

I just tried booting Windows 10 2009 with quibble. Unfortunately same issue. I'm running out of ideas.

Is btrfs.sys file (as highlighted) supposed to be in root of C:\ or C:\Windows\System32\drivers ?

It doesn't matter, as long as the right place is specified in the Registry.
