hello I use a volume of several disks in raid 0 to unify my storage.

I don't encounter too many problems except with gog when I try to install a game with it. it starts to initialize downloaded at maybe 20% ready and from here, it crashes the volume is no longer accessible and I have to start again (once my system restarts) and still without success.

PS: currently I install the game on an ntfs disk then move the game to my btrfs volume. This problem does not appear on Steam, Ubisoft or Epic Games. I'm dealing with code so if I can do some manipulation to help resolve this problem I'm all yes.

Hello, @oniflix do you by any means have raid mode for metadata? If it is this can be the issue. I've had similar problem on Linux.

IDK how to check it on windows, thou.

sudo btrfs fi usage / on linux. Where / is mountpoint of this FS

In case if this is the issue -- re-balance of FS should help.

I have exactly the same problem. GOG locks up the drive and Windows Explorer becomes unresponsive to the point where the only way to restart is hard resetting because even the restart process is stuck. I don't use RAID in any form, and rebalancing did not help. However, I do have 2 BTRFS drives if that makes any difference.
