Encoding?

The README says this package can do encoding, but I don't see any way to write PBF files. Is encoding supported?

(i am looking for a way to parse and create OSM.PBF files in go)

There isn't a encoder, but there's definitely a need for one. I'll cook one up.

Great to hear. Perhaps it would be good to contact the libosmium or osmium-tool maintainers before starting, to ensure this new contribution aligns with their development plans.
