We haven't been investigating to opentofu at this moment. Whilst I recognize there are more distributions come with opentofu, supporting it can make user's life easier. @stemaMSFT WDYT?

@edsonestrella Can you try the `resource` mode to directly export this resource: ``` aztfexport resource "/subscriptions/xxxx03xx-4xx0-4xxb-9xxx-XXXXXcbdxxxxx/resourceGroups/rg-XXXXX-scus-Prod/providers/Microsoft.RecoveryServices/vaults/rv-XXXXXXX-scus-Prod-01/backupFabrics/Azure/protectionContainers/IaasVMContainer;iaasvmcontainerv2;maz-wss-rg-01;vm-XXXXXXX/protectedItems/VM;iaasvmcontainerv2;maz-wss-rg-01;vm-XXXXXX" ``` If this works for you, the issue can be narrowed down to `azlist`.

@edsonestrella Did you specified the wrong resource id? Shouldn't it be: `/subscriptions/3db0333a-4440-470b-9a88-6053cbd20bfb/resourceGroups/rg-SharedServicesBackup-scus-Prod/providers/Microsoft.RecoveryServices/vaults/rv-SharedServicesBackup-scus-Prod-01/backupFabrics/Azure/protectionContainers/IaasVMContainer;iaasvmcontainerv2;rg-cloudops-scus-prod;vm-CloudOps-scus-Prod-01/protectedItems/VM;iaasvmcontainerv2;rg-cloudops-scus-prod;vm-CloudOps-scus-Prod-01` instead of: `/subscriptions/3db0333a-4440-470b-9a88-6053cbd20bfb/resourceGroups/rg-SharedServicesBackup-scus-Prod/providers/Microsoft.RecoveryServices/vaults/rv-SharedServicesBackup-scus-Prod-01/backupFabrics/Azure/protectionContainers/IaasVMContainer;iaasvmcontainerv2;rg-cloudops-scus-prod;vm-CloudOps-scus-Prod-01/protectedItems/VM;iaasvmcontainerv2;rg-cloudops-scus-prod;vm-CloudOps-scus-Prod-01","VM;iaasvmcontainerv2;rg-cloudops-scus-prod;vm-CloudOps-scus-Prod-01` (Note the `"` and the tailing part) E.g. @chaoscreater Thanks for this report! We can fix that once the upstream PR above got merged. Meanwhile, you can use the `--full-properties` option to skip the property tuning step, hence...

By quickly check through https://registry.terraform.io/providers/hashicorp/azurerm/latest/docs, I didn't find one resource maps to this azure resource. If it is not supported by `azurerm`, it will be skipped, unless you targeting to...

@chrischeung1126 Thank you for reaching out! Per the help message below: ``` $ aztfexport res -h ... USAGE: aztfexport resource [option] [ | @...] ... ``` The `option` comes before...

Could you please share the exact command you've been running, and the corresponding error message?

@IstvanCsVarga I've tried to create a PostgreSQL flexible server and use the tool to export it, which is successful: ```shell /tmp/aztfy1 💤 aztfexport resource -n --hcl-only --plain-ui /subscriptions/xxxx/resourceGroups/acctestRG-postgresql-322/providers/Microsoft.DBforPostgreSQL/flexibleServers/acctest-fs-322 [aztfexport] 2025/03/21...

Since this is a shell behavior, I'm gonna to close this issue for now. Thanks @needleshaped!
