Private messages cause highlights but don't un-hide buffers
If I get a private message in a new or previously "temporarily hidden" buffer, quassel-webserver will notify me that I've been highlighted, but it doesn't show the appropriate buffer at all. Reloading the page makes it show up.
Screenshots taken at the same time from quassel-webserver and the desktop client:
Note how "sb" is missing on the left.
P.S.: Looking through other open issues, this seems at least a vaguely similar to #98.
This issue is still occurring for me in the latest build, in both Chrome and Firefox.
Are you sure that you haven't hidden the buffer permanently? That's the only time I see this myself which I would imagine is works as intended other than perhaps the highlight ought not to be shown at all (though I appreciate that it is.)

Buffer is hidden temporarily in all cases, this only affects private messages, groups still function normally.
Does the same buffer unhide on the desktop client? On Mar 30, 2017 17:52, "rodneyrod" [email protected] wrote:

Yes
@tecknojock Have you had any luck finding the cause of this? It's getting a bit tedious having to unhide all your buffers if one person has sent you a message.
BTW this seems to mostly affect PMs, so chats between two IRC users only.
can't you just use the show/hide buffers option to show all of the buffers?
@ohnx I have a lot of PMs that are hidden because they clog up my room list. Having to unhide them all, go through the lists to find whatever chat has me highlighted is tedious to say the least.
