Reconnection failure when user leaves and then returns to coverage area

Your Environment

  • v1.8.0
  • Affected Component: Access Gateway
  • Affected Subcomponent: AGW MME
  • Deployment Environment: bare-metal

Describe the Issue

After returning to the coverage area, the device does not reconnect without intervention.

To Reproduce

  1. Move away from the coverage area
  2. Wait for UE loses the signal
  3. After about 5 minutes, return to the coverage area.

Expected behavior

UE attaches to network without intervention.
