Help ...Getting an error

Open source221 opened this issue 2 years ago • 9 comments

Retrying setup: Exception while setting up Emporia Vue. Will retry. Parser must be a string or character stream, not NoneType

Do we know how to fix this yet ?

I believe this is an issue when trying to parse the time that a device went offline. If you have any devices that you haven't had connected in a while (smart plugs that are unplugged for instance) you could try connecting them or removing them from your account. I'll try to get a fix for this out tonight.

Hi I just installed the vue2 today and added your integration (via HACS), install went ok but only got total power to grid and power from grid and total grid energy with 3 entities for the first 2 (min , day and month) and 2 for the last (day and month). tried a reinstall as i was expecting an entity for all my ct's (please correct me if i'm wrong) and am now receiving the same error message. App still shows all my ct circuits (6) and there were no changes to any device or config on HA other than a reinstall of app.

Just adding this in case it helps with a fix

Thanks

100% fixed, thanks for the quick update!

Side note: updating alone didn't fix it. I had to reinstall and restart my HA instance
