Tracking costs with solar...

How does this integration account for costs as far as solar returning to the grid? My entity only shows cost going up, not going down when I am exporting..... is there a way to account for this?

The integration doesn't have any real control over that since it's a part of the energy dashboard feature within Home Assistant itself. I would presume that if you set up the "Import from Grid" and "Export to Grid" options in the energy dashboard and tie them to the "MainsFromGrid" and "MainsToGrid" sensors then it should work as expected (names from memory, could be a bit off). I believe those require you to have set the Vue up as having solar and probably don't exist if you're using the Utility Connect product. I unfortunately don't have solar so I can't easily test that myself.

yea I have HA setup and the Emporia is also setup for solar... i guess the cost entity in HA can't go "negative".....
