Two Meters
I have two Emporia vue meters installed. It is difficult to know which clamp "fridge" is from which location, they both have same vue identity. I believe the Total Usage 1m,1d,1m is also a problem. There is only one set of entries, there should be two "Total Usage" results. Not sure if the results are merge or overwritten, but either way not something I can use at this time. I did not see any other posts about this Two VUE install scenario.
Sorry I'm of no help but I'm also strongly considering the Vue for my home that will require 2 separate Vue meters due to the sub panel being quite far from the main and wanting to monitor every circuit.
Two meters where one is on a sub panel should work correctly as-is. I have my Vue1 on a sub panel (inside my electric furnace) from my Vue2 which is on the main. The issues seen here are two Vues on separate power networks, eg two different houses.
The integration pulls the name from how things are named in the app, so if you have two "Fridge" channels then you'll end up with two Fridge devices in Home Assistant. Those should be identified as separate devices though, so you can rename one in Home Assistant without affecting the other or the name in the app. You might have to do a bit of manual spot checking to see which is which once some data comes in.
I could see how some of the special channels could conflict with each other. Balance should work because it'll take the name of the parent and I probably need that same handling for the MainsToGrid, MainsFromGrid, etc special channels. Unfortunately I don't have those ones (no solar here unfortunately and I'm not allowed to export solar if I had it) so those are harder for me to test.
